Estate Planning & Elder Law
Estate Planning and Elder Law
Elder law combines a host of issues related to questions of aging, such as health-related issues of disability and requirements for special nursing or other care, estate planning, and empowering those who may need to take on responsibility for managing the affairs of an elderly person who becomes physically or mentally unable to do so. The area also includes such issues as insurance questions, eligibility for government assistance programs, and guardianship.
Attorneys who practice in the area of elder law typically deal with such issues as estate planning in all its varied aspects, health law, and probate, estate and trust administration. They will prepare and review documents for wills, trusts and probate, and draft such directives as living wills, durability powers of attorney and designations of surrogates for making health care decisions.
The King Firm PA has experience dealing with these complex and sensitive issues. We invite you to call on us for a consultation if you or a family member may have need of any of these services.
